Meet The Creative Minds Behind Obra
I’m a New York–based cinematographer with over 15 years of experience shaping visual stories through bold, honest imagery. I work locally in NYC and across Western New York, bringing a grounded, collaborative approach to documentary, narrative, commercial, and corporate projects.
I started out as an editor, then worked my way through the camera department as a first AC, DIT, and operator. That path gave me a strong sense of how footage fits together and a deep understanding of the full production pipeline—something I carry with me into every project I shoot.
My work ranges from award-winning documentaries to campaigns for brands like Gap, Adidas, Macy’s, and Whirlpool. Recent highlights include *Arrest the Midwife* (SXSW 2025, airing on PBS’s *Independent Lens*) and *Bitter Taste* (Best Short, British Independent Film Festival). I also shot the *Philips Spotlight Series*, which earned both a Silver Telly and a Davey Award.
I'm comfortable working solo on intimate docs or leading a full crew on set. I'm a licensed drone operator, fluent in a range of camera systems, and experienced with both actors and real people—creating the right environment for honest performances.

As the visionary force behind Obra Design Studio, I've always been drawn to the intersection of art and architecture. My journey in design began at a young age, sketching floor plans and dreaming up imaginary cities. Years later, after studying architecture and gaining valuable experience in the field, I founded Obra with a simple yet powerful vision: to create design solutions that not only inspire but also enrich people's lives. "Design has the power to shape our experiences and evoke emotions," I often say. "At Obra, we strive to harness that power to create meaningful and impactful designs."
In my free time, I'm an avid traveler and amateur photographer. Exploring new places and capturing moments of beauty in the world around me fuels my creativity and inspires my design work. Whether I'm hiking in the mountains or wandering through a bustling city, I'm always on the lookout for inspiration.

My passion for design was sparked at an early age when I stumbled upon a graphic design magazine at my local library. From that moment on, I was hooked. I immersed myself in the world of design, teaching myself the principles of graphic design and honing my skills through countless hours of practice. Today, as a senior graphic designer at Obra, I bring that same passion and dedication to every project I work on. "Design is not just about making things look pretty," I often tell my colleagues. "It's about solving problems and communicating ideas in a visually compelling way."
When I'm not designing, you can often find me exploring the great outdoors. Hiking, camping, and rock climbing are some of my favorite activities, and they provide the perfect balance to my creative work. Nature has always been a source of inspiration for me, and I find that spending time outdoors helps to clear my mind and recharge my creative batteries.

Growing up, I always had a knack for storytelling. Whether I was writing short stories or creating homemade magazines for my family, I loved finding creative ways to share my thoughts and ideas. That love for storytelling eventually led me to pursue a career in marketing, where I could combine my passion for creativity with my knack for communication. As the marketing manager at Obra, I'm constantly looking for new ways to showcase our work and connect with our audience. "Design is all about storytelling," I often say. "And at Obra, we have some incredible stories to tell."
In my spare time, I enjoy painting and experimenting with different artistic mediums. I find that immersing myself in other forms of creative expression outside of work helps to keep my mind fresh and my ideas flowing. Whether I'm working on a new marketing campaign or painting a canvas, creativity is always at the forefront of everything I do.
